I have had a life long love for photography that started in grade school with summer photography class. My interest in photography really took off after high school. After a summer spent for working for a well-known natural light photographer I moved onto a position with the US Army Materials Laboratory.  I spent hours in the studio taking military portraits, shooting materials, covering events, playing with lighting, developing film and prints and experimenting with classic cameras.

I went on to attend the New England School of Photography and receive a minor in photography from Prescott College.  In the  years that followed my photography was focused on adventure travel, documentary photography, and extreme sports such as rock climbing, mountaineering and skydiving.

Today I shoot of a mix of natural light and on location photography which includes portraits, sports, documentary, product shots and travel.

My goal is to captures authentic moments in which people are truly immersed in life ... moments in which their sense of peace, play, wonder, love and intensity is evident.

As a quiet observer, I hope to tell a visual story that provokes emotions and gives viewers a chance to discover the richness of the moment too.
